I am in total agreement with the above post. We have completely lost our way. We have problems with Customs ,can't get the GenDec right. TSA, with security. Can't get payroll right, the first time, the second time, per diem....Scheduling has long gone off the rails. Now their is a letter of investigation circulating with regard to someone changing records. MX is a complete mess, repeated writeups, pencil whips, emergency landings in the last six months, incidents. If you are in MIA, expect to be overloaded, to the point where the cargo smoke / fire detectors are rendered inop. Remember the smoking wheel chair in the aft cargo compartment. Folks, I can go on, and on. I am not here to bash anyone, but I am totally frustrated. I've filed safety reports, ASAP's called an complained. At one point the saying was that you had to file an ASAP, because the FAA gets to see it. Folks, this place is an accident waiting to happen. The FAA needs to step in at this point to stop it.... at least until they can recertify the entire operation.

Thank you for posting.

if you have an ASAP program use it. It should be de-identified and FAA sees it. I'm surprised you have that program. It's a good one to have.

or you can be the captain that told me when we were over ZFW, I’m the captain your the FO you don’t run the numbers I’ll take the bags if I want. If I didn’t re run the numbers to make it work legally I was grabbing my bags and stepping off the airplane and telling him to shove it. But again this never happens to people here.

you should’ve made an immediate call about it and stepped off the plane. Not only because of the bags but the unsafe and unprofessional attitude of the captain.
once you stay on you are knowingly busting rules and then an ASAP or nasa report can’t help you

just curious was this a MIA captain

Yeah right. And then he'd have (At a minimum) the village idiot calling and screaming and threatening him. What you should do and what you can do here are 2 totally different things. And that's the problem

The CP is plugged into ASAP. I know of at least one senior and highly experienced CA who quit because the village idiot threatened him, and then retaliated over an ASAP that he thought 'Made him (The CP) look bad'. The ASAP program here is a joke

Swift has two seniority lists.
One is date of hire the other is the poop list.
Once you make it to the poop list you don’t get off it, at least I never did.
No upgrades from that list either if you catch my drift.
ASAP gets you on the stinky list.
You have any idea how much a company can actually do to you and get away with it?
Poor schedules, double turns on your last day, continuing per Diem issues, base changes for “operational necessities”.
Its really not that difficult to get someone to quit.
For the one of you that wonder, I really tried to give Swift an honest shake.
Was grateful for the opportunity intended to stay 3-4 years, upgrade + 1000 PIC then start looking sort of thing.
Well......didn’t quite happen that way.
Still very nice flying for the most part.
Its just an effed up company and that’s a shame.
That will never change as its their business model and anything else won’t make them money.
