Basically unless you bid split lines. You're still on the hook for 16 days with the 17th day at their discretion. This month I sat at home day 1 on scal and looks like I'm headed home a day or two early on this sequence that rolls into next month. For May that would have been 16 days straight at home, except that I did pick up 2 days which had them use the override day as a result, giving me 3 days over guarantee with the extra 300 and 400 per day on the volunteer days. In the end my month will be 13 days home with about 80 credit plus $700 with about 48 hours of block flying. Hope that example sheds some light on schedules and how it can be worked for pay.

Hello

Is Omni a happy place to work / atmosphere?
Is the training department low key?
How much $$$ can you expect to make the first year?
So, Captain upgrade stands at 3 years approx?

Fun place, good crews. Definitely a little bit of an "island of misfit toys" vibe, but in a good way.

Training department is very good. But if by "laid back" you mean "just show up and stay awake", then no. Any reasonably competent pilot can pass without difficulty, but effort is required.

1st year hourly pay x 64 hours per month is how much you can expect to make 1st year.

Hi everyone.
Could anyone tell me how the training schedule goes? For example two weeks home doing cbts and then 4 weeks in Dallas? Thanks a lot!

How does someone apply? I couldn't find anything on their website where a pilot can actually fill out an app or send a resume.

I just did my application today, just search all available jobs and FO shows up on the list. By the way, they already contacted me to setup an interview!

I filled out the application here and heard back within a few hours https://omniairinternational.appone.com/?

I received an invite for a virtual interview, anyone know if they are no longer doing in person interviews or is this a pre screen for the in person interview?
