I read a little bit then promptly deleted the rest of the email when i got it. It was clearly company BS. As with all the DH we seem to be doing (777) instead of commericaling, I wonder if the military would be interested in the fraud commited by Omni? Doing "tech" stops to pick up/drop off Omni pax and charging the military for fuel, airport services, etc. or the DH of 10+ crew members on a military flight to save on commerical airfare (which is already included in the bid both Omni and the military agreed to). There must be an anonymous tip line for goverment fraud?
It was my fondest wish to work for Omni. It was the best kept secert in 121 but ATSG and DR have taken a small profitable airline and just about run it into the ground. Like many before me, I too will be sending out resumes sooner rather than later.

Be very careful trying to play backdoor warrior/whistleblower. If you're going to allege fraud, be damn sure there is fraud, and know what fraud is. Simply because you don't like something doesn't make it fraud. Has a crime occurred?
If your employer is carrying military personnel and also deadheading your own personnel, it's only fraud f the military is not aware. Do you think the military is not aware that deadheaders are on the flight? Do you know for certain that your employer has not coordinated with the client, regarding carriage of deadheaders?
If your operator asks the military for permission and receives approval, it's absolutely NOT fraud. Are you aware of whether this has taken place? Don't report a crime that doesn't exist: know before you go.
Further, do you take it upon yourself to take shots at the company, or do you go to your union and let them handle it for you? Vigilantisim may not be your best choice.

Unless you like multiple leg travel in the back of an Omni airplane to get you where you need to be for you next assignment. Avoid Omni.
Unless your plan is to get the type and jump ship ASAP. Avoid Omni
Unless you like work rules that are far below industry standards. Avoid Omni
Omni is not a dumpster fire, it's a dump that's on fire.
you want to work in at a Supplemental Airline? Go to Atlas or Kalitta.

Indeed. And no upgrade classes have been done and none apparently are planned anytime soon.
Even the senior captains, unless nearing retirement, are looking to get out. (And even the senior ones are looking for non-121 flying jobs post-retirement because they need the $.

that and a million other steps in the process where it can fall apart means believe it when they’re paying you to train on it and it shows on the ramp.
