A letter from the CP a couple of weeks ago said hiring is expected to resume after the first of the year.

Yikes, sorry they're putting you guys through that... The 90-day TDY is unconscionable to begin with, but the only upside was getting paid.

I heard a story that a pilot had a family emergency recently, and the company wouldn't send him home. Anyone know if there's truth to that one? I wouldn't put it past 'em to be so cruel.

Thats true, a Captain's wife had a sever medical issue and was not expected to survive. The company made him by a ticket home. How's that for a company treating you like a human!

I flew with both of them on my last Omni trip. Good people, and glad she's doing better.

Consequently, being that much of this inhumane treatment started with the arrival of TW, I honestly don't know how she sleeps at night. Whatever they're paying her in Tulsa isn't worth what she's doing to people.

Re: TW...It is just pent up anger from the Rubloff owners at Ryan. :)

"That's not how we interperet the contract."

Ive dug through most of this thread but havent found out what the schedule is like. Mostly concerned with how many consecutive days most guys are working with days off in between.

What is a realistic set of flight time/experience guys are getting calls with?

The company has you for 18 days a month and it is a safe bet that you will be used. With the new rest rules, they are going to more 18 day lines instead of split lines.

If you are hired and get the 767, plan on going to Madrid for the 90 day TDY so you can fly to Bolivia. It is a junior assigned TDY with its own ups and downs. I haven't done it so I cannot give an accurate opinion on what it is really like, just heard from people what it is like.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 08:50 PM.
