New England Air Taxi Startup
Hello All,
I am interested in doing research and finding like minded partners interested in the development of an Air Taxi company in the New York/New England area. I am currently a senior in college majoring in Small Business Management and working towards my private license. My whole life has revolved around the aviation industry and I have a lot of ideas for a possible Air Taxi that really could revolutionize the market. Hi there is a lot of competition in that area and costs are exhorbatant You must get certification , insurance ,drug testing program , operations specifications and approval from the feds to name a few challenges . Not to mention flight followers that the aircraft can be in contact with . look into it further many places have come abnd gone regards FP

I wish you the best of luck, but the companies that currently run those kinds of operations pretty much have the clients who are seeking that kind of service in lock... Unless you were to do an extremely low cost operation which will probably not get you too far. Really, the only locations people in that area are trying to go to are the islands (Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard). Also keep in mind that no one goes out to the islands in the winter time... Determining the type of aircraft you would use for those kinds of flights would also be tough choice. Remember, and kind of air taxi that you would be doing here would be a relatively low altitudes so high fuel burn and cost. Anyway, Good luck!

I have a lot of ideas in terms of price optimization and operating costs as well as something to offer to a completely different target market then the other companies are, but those ideas an thought I am not gonna post to the public
