You are right man...I just mentioned that Swift is another company to watch for possibly entering CH7.

Regardless who it is, it's never a good thing to see good people end up on the streets

It's going to stay in Brazil until the part clears customs (quite a story on that), and the lessor sends someone to move it. Although they could have some of our management pilots move it like I'm guessing they moved the 330 to MZJ today. I'm guessing N125RD will soon follow. The problem with that plan, they let all the management pilots go, except one, while they try to keep the certificate active in the hopes of selling it.

No sweat, it was just veering way off topic. You're right though, it's not a good thing, and we are quickly finding out, it's not a good time to be on the street, no matter what name used to be on your pay check!

Thanks for the info! Has there been anymore news on the possible new investor or was that just for moral to soften the blow on Friday?

Sorry to all the Ryan pilots for losing your jobs. I worked there for a couple of years and had a lot of fun flying for them. I hope you all find a new position soon. Take care :-(

Many years ago when Ryan was in Wichita 1981, I was Ron Ryan's first officer. I started flying charter in Lear's and Citations. Went to the Cargo Division in 1983 and flew the Emery Airfreight contract in B727's. The company treated us well for a small 121/135 company. The lure or the Airlines was too strong and left in 1984 to work for Piedmont/USAirways. Good memories of my short time at Ryan.
