Macri is our DO he came here from PennAir in Alaska. What he is saying is not really double talk, he is just limited on what he can share publicly. Silver is officially done on these routes. They are our routes and the 145's have been covering the 120 routes for the time being. It's not ideal, but we are doing pretty good for what was dropped in our lap. The 120's won't be down long, and our performance will get back to what it was before. Growing pains is all this is.

Yes, one of the 120's is back in service. The second one is out of C-Check and should be online any day now. The passenger loads don't appear to have dropped drastically as the flying was covered fairly well by the 145 fleet. Most of the crews are still here as they were simply paid their salary to sit at home in the down time. The company is still recruiting for some 120 positions, but not nearly as heavily as they are for 145 pilots.
The 145 side of the house has some expansion coming. We have 4 on the 121 ticket presently, with a 5th awaiting FAA approval for conformity and a sixth in paint. One flying 145 is an EP and is remaining in 135 configuration for the time being(it is covering PKB flying for the downed 120 as well as an oilfield charter twice a week out of Denver.) An additional 2 145's are planned to be added to the fleet in the Spring for added flying. This means they need to staff 9 aircraft soon.
The plan we are hearing is a new hire class of 10 pilots each in January, February, and March. This on top of the present class that is in Sim now. I think they would like to hire more, but 145 sim time is hard to come by right now.
On top of pilot hiring, they are beefing up staffing everywhere... Dispatch, Maintenance, Ground Handling, office positions.

Still home basing. Right now we are understaffed, hence the hiring (two more classes scheduled after the 1/4 class) so the schedule sucks. Once we are staffed up to where the owner wants it, hopefully something in the 7/7 range. They have figured out that 8/6 won't work because of 117 rules. My guess is 7/7 and you will airline in AND fly day one.... day seven will be a trip home with no FDP.
But this is all contingent on getting staffing up to 5 pilots/plane
