Do they pay during training? Single or double occupancy in hotel during training? When you say the schedules suck, do you mean they work you like a dog when you are at work or you are never home. Home life is still important to me and the home basing makes that attractive. Commuting sucks.

Still home basing. Right now we are understaffed, hence the hiring (two more classes scheduled after the 1/4 class) so the schedule sucks. Once we are staffed up to where the owner wants it, hopefully something in the 7/7 range. They have figured out that 8/6 won't work because of 117 rules. My guess is 7/7 and you will airline in AND fly day one.... day seven will be a trip home with no FDP.
But this is all contingent on getting staffing up to 5 pilots/plane

Hello, I have a few questions on this type of schedule
what happens in the case of a flight delay? Just curious to figure out how the company will handle that.
Also, does the first flight goes into rest regulations or is just like if someone was commuting on their own time?

Single occupancy rooms during training. No pay during training, only per diem. Not sure if it still exists, but we got $3000 training bonuses at completion of the PC.
As for schedule, FAR 117 rules prevent too much abuse. With that said, we are spending much more time on the road than we were supposed to thanks to attrition and a sudden increase in flying. I do believe I will get 13 days off this month, which is about what I got at my last regional.
If the classes they have planned fill up, schedules will be better than they are now.

We are a 121 airline and as such must follow 117 rest rules. Therefore, your flight to work is a deadhead and is not Rest. If you fly a leg after getting to your destination, the deadhead becomes part of your FDP.

I didn't work for tsa but is it possible the mx was just bad there? I worked for chq and some of the planes would have gremlins for a while then be the best plane in the fleet. Even the EPs there worked fine most of the time, it just sucked you had to bump five passengers and leave the jumpseater trying to go home.
