If you are headed for EAS flying, then yes, CLT is your first stop for work. If they need you on PASS or to repo a plane, you could end up anywhere. And they will almost always get you a two leg ticket even when flying into or leaving a hub for a major airline. They will get you the cheapest seat they can find. Unless of course they need you immediately.

For example...going home CLT-IAH..they will do CLT-EWR-IAH to save $10.

Any details on the rapid depress your flight had with the Butler's mens basketball team on board a couple of days ago?

Also why did Greenbriar Valley Airport announce they have suspended operations with Via, isn't this one of Via's EAS airports? Didn't know that an airport can suspend ops of its airline.

They can't. Only the DOT can. The worst part of this situation is that passengers are being stranded or rerouted through Beckley. This makes the airline look bad even though their airport board did this.

Not a complete depress at all, rapid or otherwise. The pressurization system did act up, and the cabin altitude began to climb. The crew executed a text book emergency descent into KPIT. Cabin altitude never climbed past 15,000 feet from my understanding.

Walker there has to be a reason the airport did this. Airports live by attracting and increasing service not by kicking airlines out especially not the only airline at the airport and stranding the passengers

What altitude triggers the pax O2 to deploy in the E145? 14.5k?

On a side note, the head coach was quoted in ESPN's article as saying most of his team was crying after the cabin went dark and the masks fell. I know writers are usually overly dramatic for these kinds of incidents so I'm just curious how the facts align with the article.

Thanks for the input.

The passengers said that the lights went out, the oxygen masks do come out at around 14500 which they did. Seems strange the lights would go out, maybe some kind of electrical issue that caused the pressurization panel to trip? That would be very rare.

*******

BTW. I think an airport will suspend your airline from.operating there when you don't pay the bill for a few months
