To steer this debate back on track, it seems the point should be made again. Nobody cares what Coretz and Bernstein make or how much money they have as long as they are paying their pilots what pilots throughout the industry are making.
Since this is clearly not the case, there is a major problem here. Omni can afford to pay up. Any excuse to the contrary is just that, an excuse.

Look. It's hard to say someone is being stolen from if they're getting what they signed up for. Let's let go of those issues and philosophical differences for now as we are all after the same thing though we have different justifications. I too have heard rumors of a TA but I suspect that there will be a DW hiccup... if the K4 thread is anything to go off.

Word on the street is the company agreed to pretty much everything the negotiations team had been asking for.
Members of the team were said to be satisfied, only thing left was to put everything in legal terms and we would have a TA.
And then the "e board" said no.

it will get ugly, fast.
I was told by the former ExCo that the E board doesn't really have "final authority".... that we can tell them to F.O. but that it will make us persona non grata in the eyes of the Teamsters.

As to what avatorhi said," DW maybe the hiccup", He is spot on! DW as president of 1224 ABSOLUTELY has the power to deny OAI pilots from seeing and voting on the TA. The E-board approval comes after the members vote yes or no.
Good Luck

If we get this close and our Negotiating committee got us everything they wanted and then DW or anybody stands in the way of it and we as our Pilot group let this happen, the we are pathetic.
Let's wait and see which way it goes and if it goes bad then we go for blood. We will be standing strong with all the pilot group and our negotiators who got it done, to tell the IBT WHERE TO SHOVE THEIR BULL**** AGENDA.
