Omni Air Pilot Negotiations update
#312
I'm sure the true "Owners" of American, Delta, United, Fedex, and UPS homes are bigger.
The Owners of any business took the financial risk to be in business. In the beginning the Job of creating a business is a 24/7 drain on everything you consider important. I'm glad that the owners at Omni are successful and can enjoy financial rewards of their business.
As a worker in that business, I will negotiate with my union the salary and work rules that work for me or move on.

I swear... it's getting a little too ANTIFA in here. Are we going to start dictating what fair compensation is for airline presidents and CEOs now? It's their business. Our goal is to get fair compensation for the job we do. Want to make CEO money? Go be a CEO. In the meantime I'll be happy being and Airline Pilot making Airline Pilot money at a competitive rate considering the size, scope, and workload of the company I am at.

Mmmkay my ANTIFA friend. Clearly you've never started or run a business. Perhaps we should all just make minimum wage top to bottom and allocate the remainder of the resources as you personally see fit.

Sure looks like a deserving group. Be fair to yourselves. Don't cut & run on international business class DH. They'll expense every dime of it and you'll live longer.

It certainly looks like the CEO is having no problem funding anything he wants.
I guess the limitations of compensation package affordability due to Omni's size, scope, and workload only apply to the pilots, not the CEO.

His compensation wouldn't be in question if the Omni pilots were compensated like everyone else but to be exploited by him is unacceptable. The worst part is to read that some are even being defensive of this exploitation.
No business class...are you kidding me?!?
50% pay while deadheading...unbelievable!
Did I gather that you don't have KCM either?!? If that is true, that is pathetic!
Good thing all these sacrifices are being made by the pilots. Looks like your CEO might need to fund another addition on his house. He only has room for 14 cars in the garage.
This treatment is completely unacceptable. YOU ARE ALL WORTH MORE...WAY MORE!!!

Yeah... I don't think I ever said we should stop negotiating and keep working for current pay. World of difference between fair pay won thru negotiations and dictating pay for ownership.

Exactly and the company can afford a lot of other things that are standard benefits for airline pilots throughout the industry.
