True. I heard there is a lot of open time. A new hire (dash) just passed his checkride and is already scheduled, in a couple days, for his IOE

Jr Dash FO's aren't flying much.

ERJ is a completely different story. The Jr Line flying Captain was in the July upgrade class. Im not sure if any August upgrades have even started IOE. August new hire FO's are just starting IOE now on the Jet.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the new instructors will be given checkairman status sooner than what was expected to help with the backlog. While it will still be a delay for IOE, I think it will start to shorten.

They've already scheduled the sim slots out for our class into March STARTS. The last sim starts March 19th. That's three months off. Then IOE. That'll be 7+ months to get online.
As for the guy who said we are being paid... hahah. Well a) Since I am employed I would hope I am. And b) Min guarantee on FO pay doesn't go very far towards a mortgage and family.
