First off, no one in the new hire class from this week has commented if anyone had the previous 121 time to upgrade and if they did, if they bid the Dash. So let's a not say "No upgrades" yet
I totally agree, now that 2 other airlines have the CPP as well, and there are better bonuses and rententuon bonuses at other regional carriers, the ball is in C5's court to come up with a new way to attract new hires.

D8 is starting to wind down. You will see more D8 captains coming over. The erj will only increase going forward. There are plenty of qualified FOs now who are bidding it and can't hold it.

October new hires were able to bid ERJ CA because there were not enough current pilots, Dash CA/FOs, that wanted to bid IAD ERJ CA (probably pilots that were ERJ domiciled and waiting for the EWR ERJ base to open up). Currently, 8 ERJ CA spots are up for bid each month. Per the contract, 30% or 2 spots go to current Dash CA and the rest go to FOs (Dash or ERJ), so yea, it will be awhile for any newhires to get ERJ CA.
