This particular TA offers substantial improvements in QoL and offers reimbursement for positive space commuting. I don't see it as the bottom of the FFD contracts.
I hope for the day when there isn't a huge disparity between regional and national airline compensation packages. I am not sure you get there with one pattern bargaining cycle though. Ideally we eliminate the contract carrier model entirely but that will take more solidarity than we have in my opinion. Hopefully Mesa can outdo us and set the stage for whoever is next. That's how pattern bargaining actually works. |

I’m voting NO. First off, these pay rates aren’t even on par w the better regionals, who soon will be in contact talks, but more importantly the work rules still seriously lag
-Still no limit how many times one can be assigned ASB. -Still 8 hrs for 4 hrs pay -Still no limit how often one can be involuntary extended. -And most importantly WHY no “me too” clauses?? HARD PASS from me. Guys and Gals…..this is the BEST CLIMATE for pilots in decades. We can do better!!! |
