I hope for the day when there isn't a huge disparity between regional and national airline compensation packages. I am not sure you get there with one pattern bargaining cycle though. Ideally we eliminate the contract carrier model entirely but that will take more solidarity than we have in my opinion.

Hopefully Mesa can outdo us and set the stage for whoever is next. That's how pattern bargaining actually works.

Almost anything would compare as "substantial" improvements if compared to the old contract you guys had. While there are gains in this TA, the target was regional contracts that are several years old. How long before those other contracts are renewed and leave CommutAir back at the bottom again? In this environment, it probably won't be long. Either way, I don't think this will do much to attract new recruits. It may slow down some of the horrendous attrition in the short term though. I'm fairly certain this thing will pass by a wide margin just like the last "contract" you guys voted in. You know, the one management sold to you guys so you could get the jets on property.

I’m voting NO!

I’m voting NO. First off, these pay rates aren’t even on par w the better regionals, who soon will be in contact talks, but more importantly the work rules still seriously lag

-Still no limit how many times one can be assigned ASB.
-Still 8 hrs for 4 hrs pay
-Still no limit how often one can be involuntary extended.
-And most importantly WHY no “me too” clauses??

HARD PASS from me.

Guys and Gals…..this is the BEST CLIMATE for pilots in decades.

We can do better!!!

Could someone post the contract highlights? To benchmark against other regional contracts?
