It appears that the company is hiring FOs, but as others have written, it is at least 6 months if not longer, and I would expect hiring to be much more competitive than it was in the recent past. The captain imbalance is still getting worse. I'm not sure what management's strategy is, or even if they have one, but I wouldn't be surprised if FO hiring slows down even more or stops.

You get sized for it and can order it in the beginning of training. They do one of those things where you get an "allowance" of company money to spend, but really the company keeps track of how much you spent and excuses you from the debt at a rate of $17.50/mo (maybe per pay period?). If you leave before your allowance is fully paid off, they take the remaining balance out of your last check.
As far as during training itself, no uniform/luggage necessary. Business casual dress and backpacks are the norm in the training center

Buy as little as possible from the CO lady. First she's crazy, second Crew Outfitters quality sucks. The only thing they are good for is luggage. I haven't even worn my blazer one single time. Oh they do have decent metal-free shoes too.
