Received this response couple days after updating Airline Apps and publishing to them:

"Good afternoon. Thank you for your interest in joining the CommuteAir team. Currently our classes are full through this summer and we are pausing our interview process. In the meantime, if you are still interested in joining our team, please update your airline application monthly with your flight times. When we begin the interview process, we will be looking at the best candidates.

I mean, it’s almost the end of April so that’s not a big deal IMHO.

It’s seems to be pretty bottlenecked in the training center. They’re giving instructors HUGE raises to incentivize them to stick around, but they are also working 20+ days a month.

C5 was the most transparent of all the regionals I applied/interviewed with, so I’d just stay in touch with your recruiter if you really want to be here.

What are the odds he tells his CA he can't calculate mins or even worse calls dispatch to have him do the calc for him?
In retrospect I had a FO call me as their dispatcher and they told me they were running late and requested THE CAPTAIN DO THE PREFLIGHT AND BEFORE START lists. I told them Ummm OK ill pass that on. I called the CA and he was taken aback when I told him the FO's request. IIRC He said Ok thanks for informing me, ill be sure to have a word with him. **I would wanna be a CVR on the wall for THAT debrief after shutdown with the FD door closed.*

The only regional actually growing and being compensated quite well.

C5 is smaller than they were pre-COVID and pays among the lowest.
