CommutAir Rumors and Info
#754
Our operations are getting better. Two reasons: We finally have a couple airplanes coming out of C-checks and we've reduced the total hours flown. Operations finally figured out our reliability was in part due to having no spare airplanes. They expect our flying hours to start going back up after the first of the year.

QOL is pretty decent when operations go smoothly, and it should get smoother as airplanes get out of checks. I commute 1000 miles to work, and with the pay bump and especially the free commuter hotels life is pretty good.

Nothing official has been said, and I haven't personally heard the rumor on the line. There's many things that can be done to better the passenger experience that are cheaper (air carts, working NVS, etc,.)

I flew one of the planes that just came out of a c-check from RFD last week. The passenger seats were the same but it had all new carpet, some new lighting, and reupholstered pilot seats. It does look nicer, but it's not a major overhaul.
