No problem but heads. If you are traveling in the back based on jumpseat privileges all airlines require check in with Capt. No one care wtf
You like its policy. You seat in back is due to jumpseat privledges. If you like we can go to the way it was before, 1 jumpseat equals 1 pilot rides irregardless if the cabin is all empty.

And for your grandpa comment brainless, he is the one that fought for unlimited jumpseat privileges you have now.

It was all technically still active but I've heard that the agreement says it has to work in conjunction with a live reserve grid, which we don't have, so technically they could have right seat qualified anyone but couldn't use them. Secondly once we're above 12.5 for staffing they have to stop right seat quals which we've recently achieved.
