November 2018 most junior CA IIRC. Those guys snuck in there though. Last vacancy was closer to a year.

Either way, incredibly fast for a 175 operator. phenomenal.

That all said, to the dude with an offer at OO and PSA, those are two companies that are rock solid right now, it must be a good feeling knowing that if you don’t “make it to mainline” right away, as most don’t, you’ll still have a job and a good salary there in a few years. Meanwhile here at CPZ I’m upgrading but keeping my FO budget and saving up for possible unemployment for when stuff hits the fan in 2020, YMMV. If I was at OO I could be thinking of settling down and finally buying a house etc.

Not knowing what the future holds here, as well as some grim writing on the wall, makes it pretty hard to advertise/like this place IMHO.

Fantastic pilot group is our biggest “plus”

All I can say is look at every regional that was “doomed” within the past few years. How many actually closed their doors and how many got pulled from the almost sure closure of it’s doors....just hope in the wave and ride it with us cause it’s a blast

If we have vacation and we pick up a trip on top of a VAC day, is that paid above the VAC pay or are you "working for free"? anyone have this situation that isn't specifically a vacation buy back?

I’ve been paid above always.

You get both. But double check your Rainmaker. I've had the vacation hours mysteriously drop out after a pick up.

Definitely get both. If it’s a day trip and the VAC code can still be left on part of the day your credit should not change. If it’s a multi day and they have to completely remove any day of the VAC that credit will disappear, but payroll audits at the end of the month to add the credit back in. Never hurts to leave a comment in RM to remind them you need your VAC credit topped back off.
