I'd have preferred a Delta contract extension but you never want to look a gift horse in the mouth....

I think this is a good announcement. Let’s face it guys/gals, for the past year everyone has been complaining about nothing great happening. We finally get some good news and the first thing people do is bash it. I’d rather get this news then absolutely nothing at all!

It’s not for me, but hopefully it helps those above me who are stuck here for some reason or another.

My bet is most of the señor captains will bypass 1 yr. We have a good record of guys getting fedex and dal obviously, and if you're a 1000+tpic LCA or next in line for that, i'de imagine one would hold out for a legacy.
But if you'll live in base at F9 and you are an FO now, might not be a bad move.. The deliveries over there look enticing.. If the upgrade times come down even more to like 2 yrs, you could do alright at F9. It's like those who went to NK in 2016-17, they got a better contract and now they are upgrading

Does one have to be in the airlines (or on APC) a certain amount of time to refer to carriers by their 2 letter ID? You know..."NK", "F9", "9E", "B6"...stuff like that.
Because I want to know how much longer before I get to be that cool.
