In one of the union emails they mentioned that a lot of pilots still got 95 hour lines with a ton of reserves and the company said they made a mistake on the award. I think this is supposed to correct that a little bit.

I bid 57% for September LAX FO.... I bid for 1) max credit 2) back end commutable 3)max weekends and not much else.... What did I get? 85 hrs, two Sundays off and FEWER than usual commutable trips. (two coverage trips). But I got 12 days off instead of 11 and only 85 hours while bidding max credit as top priority... And, yes I know how to set up PBS. I think the last couple of months have been really screwed up somehow. I know some of the folks in crew planning and I think they are good people but I reckon you need a PhD in math to get PBS set up right on the company level.

I mean I’m not sure how anyone is supposed to get any kind of decent award with max credit checked. You may have accidentally clicked that while trying to check “max days off”

Another day of radio silence. Looks like they're going into the call blind tomorrow. Get your bingo cards ready!

Ok, back to our regular speculation programming.
So if/when the AA birds go back to Envoy that means they should be reopening their LA base.... And if it's true that around 30 of the Delta planes are going to Republic wouldn't they have to open a west or Midwest base?? There's no way they have enough ADDITIONAL flying in Boston for 30 planes. So if by some turn of this crazy regional reshuffle Envoy and Republic had an LA base who would you go for? I'd go for Envoy but not for the flow... Just the Dr Pepper. |

SkyWest has quite a bit of flying right now in BOS and LGA for Delta. They will move that flying west to LAX/SEA/SLC and Republic will fill in on the east coast.
