Check out the DLnet article: DL CA enhances flight experience: ‘we got a VIP tour’.

See even mainline pilots aren’t required to make PAs from the galley. And when they do they get an front page recognition.

Compass pilots who do this get continued employment until 2020. What an honor.

Lol so true. I always wondered: if mainline loves us doing this so much, why dont their pilots do it? Are they not told, or do they not care?

I thought that article was pretty rich, too. Maybe if I make one from the forward galley I'll make the Deltanet homepage, too!

Probably not, but it puts you within arm’s reach of the snack basket.
