Same here, notification and then gone. I hope someone asked for a yes or no answer. If there is a deal in place the NDA’s won’t let them give an affirmative or negative answer. Which would be telling. Compassyard... Brickass...🤔

BR said nothing "imminent" happening, and he isn't aware of anything in the works.

Paraphrasing but he was saying carriers talk all the time. He wouldn’t know of any information if there was a merger in the works. Mergers in his career are usually a good thing. Said the report was wrong and there was no imminent merger.

If I got that wrong please correct me. So take that for what it is. Thanks P for asking.

Also, I vote for Brickass.

Yeah, some appreciation. My crew and I were in the crew room yesterday at 16:15 local for a sit and all that was in there was a stale bowl of tortilla chips and a box day old donuts. Then to show additional appreciation, we had the pleasure of flying three legs with an inop APU.

-CF goal met for Delta in July but serval cancels
-missed D0 goal for Delta mostly SEA issues
-American Aug numbers good so far
-Delta CF for Aug ok, but on time has been low and is in penalty, mostly SEA issues
-flight crew performance American 98.5 D0
-crew performance Delta 99.97 CF - 97.20 D0
-ISM scores are good
-new hire class continue 26 for Aug.
-upgrades 20 Aug. and 20 September
-attrition lower than planned
-several new stations FAI coming back in Nov.
-cockpit WIFI testing starts sept 1st could open to everyone in oct (delta only)
-RNAV visuals coming for LAS
-RNAV RNP manuals in development to give to FAA still long way off
-DELTA app review 15 per month continues
-D-5 door closure on DELTA starts next week
-FA class started Monday most go to SEA
-JULY MX was a struggle
-Aug MX AA good DL side getting better but room for improvement
-full landing gear changes start in September
-scheduled IOCC outage on or around the 28th for upgrade

Q- long sits in base are not getting day rooms they are told to use the quit room?
A- Please email specific details to use to look into.

Q- Republic buying us rumor have they even been in contact with us?
A- Makes sense but blog post is unfounded. Nothing imminent, we don’t know anything.

Q- backlog in hiring waiting for class dates?
A- Classes scheduled through the end of the year are full. Working on plan for 2019. Upgrades continue at a good pace. Small training backlog one sim down for upgrades.

Q- pairing productivity and raised floors increased days off?
A- Happy to see floors coming down Oct-Nov all floors should be back down to normal. Lots of training to increase staffing. Productivity is tied to schedule we are given by code share partners and there is little we can do about it.

Q- 2 emergencies for hydraulics is this normal or high?
A- Airplanes brake. Is it normal, no. Does it happen, yes. Crews handled situation well. It was a just a fluke.

Q- SJC issue MX lack of training and knowledge. What are we doing to train MX?
A- Lost lots of MX to mainlines. High turnover. Working to train replacements as quick as possible. They have to learn some on the job they can’t teach them everything in training.

Q- AA crew room in terminal 4?
A- Not in the budget till 2019. Will be coming spring 2019 terminal 5.

Q- FA has IOCC denying trades for no reason?
A- Send us specifics because there is probably a reason you are not seeing.
