Must have been on a LOA while at his new gig. According to the CBA, up to one year, that’s the only way to recall your seniority. Greater than one year LOA, or resignation, forfeits any seniority.

However the CPO has rescinded a resignation in the past, after someone failed out of NH training at their new job. In typical fashion ALPA did nothing about it.

If he was on LOA, wouldn't he have remained on our seniority list?

Does it take PIC time to get hired there now?

IIRC about one FO a month has been going to Spirit. Lowest TT I heard was 2300 hours.

Yep, I misunderstood. Saw the other thread. Those numbers are totally reasonable. I thought for some reason it meant you needed unrestricted ATP minimums AND 1500 ME, which would be 500 more than the 1000 SIC 121 you need to upgrade.

12 hours. You can get them done in a day if you’re motivated.

He didn’t keep his seniority #. Left the major league due to QOL issues/realization of what life would be be like if he stayed the course. He will be trying to spend most of his time in MSP as a SLIP instructor until he figures out what to do next.

The only thing that makes sense here is if he came back and got awarded street captain. They cannot direct hire a SLIP CA. That would be a violation.

Ha. This place is about to see droves of direct entry captains. It sucks, but the company/union don’t care
