I would say you will learn a lot more on this than the original route you proposed. the DEN to LAX flight will be a little long but it will give you lots of time to ask questions... ask them about ACARS and VNAV those are two things that don't get covered enough in training and there is a lot to talk about it will make the hour in cruise seem like 15 minutes. I hope you get a good crew (most are) that like to show you things!

So while I am sure those with Cjo’s and class dates are keeping options open but curious if there are any class dates happening soon or currently happening ? I a date this fall

There is one going on right now (or just finished). I believe it had 2 people in it. I can only speak for LA but it looks like 8 new hires will be doing IOE in September.

Upgrades are going on, and it looks like it will continue per the vacancy.

As for new classes, per the last update the classes would continue. It has been quiet on the *anything substantial* communication from the company though.

Tomorrow is the union appointed deadline for a legitimate company update.

Keep the CJO, probably prudent to try and obtain others just in case. As crappy as that is to say.

Good to know classes are active! Was told the same thing by hr and to anticipate no changes (I know it all can change in moments so not naive about that)

Oh yeah I am keeping mine (oct atp/ctp) and will be in class if it starts as any options I have would be in the spring. With unknowns compass will / could be still great for my situation.

Got an October Start date here. another CJO from OO. The more this “announcement” drags on I’ve become very skeptical, but for being west coast and the flying I’m still rooting for it.

Hoping something is announced before October to make my decision a little easier.

Accept both. You don’t have to cancel the OO one until two weeks before the class date. Worst case, you get a free ATP some training pay, and a few extra sims.

Gotya! Ya my ATP/CTP is beginning of October here and then OO isn’t projected for a end of October/November class date.

If no announcement by then u think it’ll be okay to jump ship in between due to the circumstances?

If no announcement by then I think you’ll be furloughed out of class.
