Really good news for Compass pilots would've been if we were hired by mainline to fly the Embraers at mainline. That's not what NW ALPA voted in, unfortunately. Hopefully you and your cohorts will realize that from here on in, what happens at Compass does affect you because every time management lowers the boom at Compass they will use that against the NW pilots as well. So yes, good news for Compass pilots is good news for NW pilots as well.

It's great we are finally getting the pay we deserve. Capt pay from day one will be a nice check. It was tough getting the letter for Check Airman then being told I was only going to be a F.O. for two months. I think everyone in our class will have a chance to be a check airman at some point in the next few months. My sources tell me that 29 will be the total number of Check Airman when we have all 370+ pilots on board.
Does anyone know when DTW will open? I haven't heard anything about it lately. It will help my base seniority when all the CRJ guys go there. Five numbers are five numbers man! Xtreme I owe you a few drinks when we do reccurent in YUL!! Maybe we can be at the Unison for Playboy night again.
