Hate to say it but my money is on EuroMan's prediction coming true. I'm making plans based on unemployment within a year. Hard to believe any manager in the company is saying that, though. I said something along those lines in the crew room in front of JK and he looked like he was gonna come unglued. Apparently been drinkin' his own koolaid....

NWA is famous for the koolaid...at least it tastes good i drank it for a few years....finally decided i wanted some soda instead...now im on the verge of being fired everyday but i like my job alot more..and im not employed by compass...i am employed by the company who owns em....big red..

NWA/Compass managementt won't spook you guys until the ax begins to fall. They don't want a mass exodus of rats running down the gangplanks before they're ready.
Everything will be "safe" until the day before they announce furloughs due to flowbacks, but if you went to Compass then you knew this would be a risk.

Agreed eaglefly. They'll put on a happy face right up to the point they hand out the pink slips. And yep I knew it was a risk, mainly from the potential merger perspective. I wasn't quite anticipating $140 oil. Whoops.
