Thanks for the heads up. However, I think the Compass ship has sailed. Its looks like they have a handful of positions left and I would think those people are already in the pipeline? Would have been a great opportunity a year ago. Congrats to all those that got on early, wish I had been one.

Flew with a guy that had the same problem. He called and was told his class was on Friday. He finally got a hold of someone on Wednesday.

Compass has been hiring pilots with 5000-25000 hours for the past six months on end.
It is the reason they have so many people not show up for class sometimes. Because people with that amount of experience on their resume are all waiting on other offers besides Compass.

I just received the same letter. Pretty much said, your very experienced but no thanks. My times are about the same:

8+ years of airline 121 exp.
2 type ratings
4 yr. degree
I'm gonna be furloughed soon from a major and I want to retain my recall rights so I put down on the app "no" when asked if I would be willing to relinquish my seniority from any airline. I'm wondering if that is what did it for me.

On another thread there was speculation that Compass may be getting some more aircraft. Maybe there is another chance to get on? A few have said that they have called Compass HR to check on the app. Does anyone have a link or can pm me the contact info if there is any? I would appreciate it. I applied at the end of July and have some competitive times and am wondering if I can get some feedback or as one poster said there might be a chance I got overlooked in the HR transition. Thanks
