Interesting, because I have bumped a couple of NWA pilots on a Pinnacle flights before. Maybe it's only for Compass? When I check on PARS on a Pinnacle flight I see NWA pilots listed as 5W and myself as a 5. Also, when mainline pilots comes on to introduce themself, I see "5W" on their boarding pass.

When I was hired, they told us we used to travel as 5W, but no longer. My wife and daughter traveled on a Pinnacle flight yesterday, and were a 5. I have never seen a priority code on any of my boarding passes.

You may have bumped an NWA employee on a PCL flight if you had an earlier DOH.

The only thing Pinnacle has to do with NWA is an ASA.
I can't stand to read these boards anymore because of the consistent poor taste, quality, and overall low rent comments from these "users" and others.

You my friend exist at the pleasure of Northwest, and its MAINLINE pilots who succumbed to adding the former Independence certificate by NWA management as a bargaining chip during their negotiations.

Do you, after no more than a year or so in your shoes at Compass, sincerely believe that any Airlink company should be considered more special than the others? After all, pilots at Mesaba and Pinnacle have been previously “owned” and sold and have been working for the “Company” for decades. What, you have any right to speak like this? Will this gain you the respect you seek? But, after your first year, it makes you feel better to spew garbage and disparage your fellow pilots and foster more bickering right?

Why don’t you speak to a few NWA pilots and ask them what they think about you Non-revving and bumping NWA pilots (and families) because you deserve it and because you are “owned”. Heck- better yet, why don’t you bid the Bus or 757? You’re all in the family right? Deserves got nothing to do with it.

It's usually on there as a small print, mine says 5 or 5W or 9H depending who's operating the flight and if i'm non-rev or J/S. My dad's is a 6W or 6P (I can't remember).

I guess I haven't looked close enough at the boarding pass. Per the NWA travel site, all NWA contract employees travel as a priority 5 on all carriers, and parents travel as 6P.

Your dad would travel as a 6p on PCL and a 6w on NWA.

Darn guys I didn't mean to raise any ones blood pressure. I guess I don't worry about it as much as some guys.

I was under the impression though that NWA was a 5 on our aircraft and did infact board ahead of our employees. However I have NEVER left a CMP employee standing at the gate....Kind of hard with all those extra j/s on board.

Everyone have a beer try to find some good in something from time to time.

Because of status quo, all the Airlinks should be traveling at the same boarding priority. It doesn't really matter who is wholly owned or not, we all do the same thing at the end of the day, regardless of who owns you and regardless of what your uniform looks like. We all feed big red.

The NWA pass benefits are actually pretty good, they've come a long way in the last 10 years and we ought to be thankful for what we've got. As for what happens in the future with DL... I just hope they get rid of that awful DL travel line disaster of a nonrev phone service. If we could only get online nonrev info for everyone! That's the worst part of NWA pass bennies. Oh, and traveling with your buddy for buddy passes.

Let me put it this way...my wife's job has many benefits that she enjoys because she is an actual part of the corporation, not just a contractor that does some of their work. It would not make sense that a contracter should get the exact same benefits as my wife. If her company goes down, she goes down with it. The contractor simply leaves and finds work elsewhere. It's because of taking that risk that she deserves certain benefits above her contractors.

Please show me where I wrote that I should be higher than a NWA pilot...that's right, I never wrote that. The only airlines I should be higher than are airlines that NWAC contracts with outside of our corporation.

To answer your question, Mesaba and Compass pilots will soon enough once we start to flow up.
