With the current number of aircraft operated (36) the pilot seniority list has been as high as 430 (with flows waiting to go to Delta) and as low as 320 bidding. That is one heck of a range for operating the same number of A/C. Currently reserve staffing is very low in MSP and almost 50% of the crews in DTW are on reserve. (DTW is a small base) But reserve levels change every month. (And this is not summer time yet, when we are absolutely swamped)

My phone has been blowing up with messages about it this afternoon. It is odd that they were hiring all those pilots with no flow through in the near future and the statement that "They Will Hold all Future Flows the Full 90 days" I guess just because they can. So no imediate need to replace a mass exodus so the new planes makes more sense.
The question from who? And how many more 70 seaters are allowed? Is Comair or someone else losing them or something?

We're in the process of parking over a hundred 50s (130ish down to 16), but we have no 170s on property to give to Compass. If we're parking 700s or 900s it hasn't been announced yet.

Could anyone hired at Compass recently tell me whats involved in the medical exam after you get hired? Is it just like your standard 1st class medical?
