I stand by my statements. I'll get back in touch with you in about 1-2 years and we'll discuss the operation at that time. As I stated before..good luck

Eh having been here since near the beginning, here's my 2¢....

For now, Compass treats their pilots fairly well for a regional. I have called in sick a number of times and never been questioned in the least. I have called in fatigued, and the ACP thanked me for doing the safe thing. The schedules seem to be fairly productive (very productive in my case, but that's the seniority talking). From what I hear, crew sked is pretty good about working with commuters - giving reserves RAPs that allow them to commute in/out same day, for example. Our current CP isn't perfect but he's a huge improvement on the last A-hole everyone hated, and the presumptive next CP (current MSP ACP) is a great guy, very fair, a pilot's CP.

I had my qualms about Mx when I came here. I came from an airline that did most Mx inhouse and Compass outsources everything. That said I've had no complaints. Nobody *****es about writeups, and they actually make an effort to fix things instead of automatically deferring them. It's actually not horribly common to get a DMI on a non-cosmetic item.

Dispatch was a shambles when I got here, and stayed that way for a while. It's finally better now, I still go over their work with a fine-tooth comb but don't find nearly as many gross screwups as I did a few years ago.

The flight attendants are a very mixed bag. The company treats them horribly, turnover is high, and sometimes it seems they'll hire anyone with a pulse. It's actually surprising they're able to attract any good ones, and we do have some very good ones. Bad thing is they're just as likely to be arbitrarily fired as the horrible ones.

The real question is whether things will go downhill under Hulas. If you look at TSA/GJ, the future looks dark, but thus far they've been kinda content to leave us on our own. No appreciable changes in mx, hotels, etc. The lawsuit they filed against ALPA is a bad sign...I just heard it got settled or dismissed, though.

Where did I say anything about better? Just different.

As in worse, but no Hulas if that's your criteria.

This has been my experience almost exactly. The competence of Crew Scheduling and Dispatch seems to have a direct correlation to the age of headquarters. When IAD was new Dispatch was lacking...though now that I think of it Scheduling was awesome back then. Things improved over time until the move to MSP when there was a small dip in competence...scheduling had the potential to be difficult at that time. Things seem to have settled down now that they have been in MSP for a while. I haven't had a Dispatch issue in a long time. I don't deal with Scheduling enough to comment. I think it depends on who you talk to.
