40-some-ish. Already have had a class or two this year so only 30-some-ish left. Junior base is probably DTW but MSP is a possibility. Reserve is indefinete right now since there is no flow and low attritition. Expect to be on reserve at least a year right now. Could be less if Delta starts hiring or much longer if they don't.

To the number of you who answered my question regarding 'time to hear back from compass,'

Thank you.

Now that our HR is ran by Trans States I would expect a call in a few months from a fellow in India with a thick accent named "Jon"

Did T.S. change the interview process?

The interview process itself is currently more or less the same since just before the sale to TSH. The cog test, mmpi, knowledge test, and panel interview are still in place. The requirements for getting interviewed have changed some in that some people with a 2 year degree may get to the interview stage now, and candidates without prior 121 are also being given consideration.

What percentage of new hires have previous 121 experience?

I believe it's around to 60-70%. There has been a trend of more and more non 121 pilots that are getting hired though.

Cheers

Good to hear...any idea on when they are interviewing & holding more classes?

Last I saw earlier this week they still had 20 positions posted on the hiring web page.

I am interested in applying at Compass and have a couple questions.

1. Is 1500 hours a hard minimum or are they willing to lower the minimums for applicants currently working at a 121 carrier?

2. Is the ATP written required before applying or do they allow you to acquire it after being hired but before the class date?

Thanks in advance for the replies.
