I have now taken that Job Knowledge test twice. It is a difficult test in the fact that it is hard to study for. The study guides that both ExpressJet and Compass give the applicants should just say study everything. The hardest part about the test is that most of the questions have two answers that are very similar and both seem correct.
It is not an easy test, but then it is passable with some studying.

I got whupped by the cog test. I may have suffered a mild stroke as a result.

The Delta Air Lines and Compass study gouge from aviationinterviews is a must as well as reading "Mental Math for Pilots". Also, the aerodynamic and performance chapters of "Ace the Technical Pilot Interview".

The cog test is there to **** you off, and stress you out. You have to treat it like a video game. If you let the question you just missed make you mad or stressed, you will never be ready for the next one. Once you miss one, and you will, you have to put it out of your mind, and focus on the next.

I would venture to guess all 76 seat regional airlines are interested in adding more flying to their fleet. Why is it a rumor that a regional airline wants to grow and become more profitable?
