But seriously, I am not playing the lateral move game. I am trying to focus on moving up, not to another regional, esp one owned by TSH.
Also at the moment I am focused on FOQ and getting my ATP done shortly. That will help me to move up not sideways.
However I do think for those looking for a job at a regional, Compass is a great selection right now. Come back in a year, and lets look again. Hopefully they dont get E190s and ask to get more pay to fly them compared to the 170 .

I ask again- how senior are you? 90% of the CPZ will be flushed upward when DL picks up hiring.
Granted, much of my career moves have been spent avoiding anything to do with AA or US. It has paid of well, haha.

Getting the ATP won't help you move up. Everyone will have one, it will be exactly like it is now. It will not set you apart. No PIC time, your options will be limited.

However, like I said, I think Compass is a great place for anyone starting at the regionals.

First thing most say when I ask whats going on, do you have your ATP and do you have 2500 total. If that bridge can be covered it opens greener pastures than starting over at another RJ airline.

Just interviewed with Compass today. PM me for details. Got hired into the pool. The JKT is a butt kicker and I studied as best I could from the study outline and previous gouge on aviationinterviews.com.
