Compass updates

I probably missed the rush.

1500 applications, sounds like a real pilot shortage!

I'm not sure if this applies to Compass or not, but I've been told when using airline apps update as often as possible. I was told this pushes your app to the "top of the pile". Like I said I don't know how true that is but I can't imagine it would hurt. That and get an internal rec. I tried getting in without one and was turned down. Got a few recs and got an interview. Again not saying this is the end all be all. Just doesn't hurt.

That is just everyone that has filled out the Compass amendment on Airline Apps? Would it help to get a call by lowering the minimum salary requirement from 45K to 25K?

Anyone interviewing next week? PM me.

You will not get a call if you are asking for a minimum of 45K as a salary requirement. I would imagine that recruitment would get a good laugh by that request on your app.

If you are hired at Compass you will be paid $25 per flight hour with a 75 guarantee. You will be responsible for your own lodging during training and will have to sign a 1 year training contract.

Compass updates

As long as there is any regional that will start you out at $25/hr and make you pay for lodging during training.....the pilot shortage is not here.

^^^This.

Updating your app regularly shows that you are still interested, therefore keeping you at the "top of the stack".

I put 60k on mine and was hired. They asked me about it in my interview and I told them that I didn't want them to think I was cheap. They laughed and sent me to get my picture taken. Maybe everyone should grow a pair and actually ask for what they want instead of just conforming to the others.
