Exactly. Not a chance we could pull it off.
I could see Delta throwing a fit if you guys picked up flying for someone else. You agree?

What influence do they have over us? As long as we don't operate their airplanes (that they own) in the service of another airline, they don't get a vote. They lost that right when they sold us for some walking around money.

Are there any clauses on the contract between Compass and Delta? There are many restrictions in those contracts that we don't know, TSH isn't a traded company so we don't have as much information available.

Well considering we seem to be Delta's flavor choice for their new dominance out west I am sure they wouldn't be too happy if we started flying for someone else and started having staffing difficulties on top of the already existing ones. Soooooo..... As we have all learned, don't **** Delta off. I wouldn't want any flying for anyone else, lets focus on making what we have work so there are no hold backs! That's where the real winnings are for people here.

Eh, just repeating what JD told me last Wednesday.

I just got the e-mail I have been waiting on last night with an interview invite but have a few questions for people that just went through an interview or know the interview process. WFFF has a gouge from November of 2013 but then it drops back to November of 2012 so I am hoping someone on here can tell me if the gouges on WFFF are good or should I start looking elsewhere on the net for more up to date gouges.

You can also study the ExpressJet gouge, they use the same
3 tests that you'll get at Compass. Then your typical HR panel interview. The Delta Knowledge test is no joke! Study up.

The WFFF gouges are spot on, or at least they were when I was there at the end of October. Read them. Learn to love them. :-)

Study what's on the guide they sent you and you'll do fine. The knowledge test is tough, but if I got through it anyone can.

I re-read The Turbine Pilots Flight Manual and Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators and felt those two pretty much covered everything.

If you can get through the first few chapters in "Aerodynamics," which are pretty darn dense, the performance and systems bits are outstanding.

The cog testing is, um, interesting. I felt doing the free lumosity.com stuff for a couple of weeks helped me. YMMV. Read the thread about cog testing and decide for yourself.

The interview experience at Compass was really great and I'm looking forward to working there. The folks you'll meet are outstanding.

Put in the work on the front end and you'll do fine.

Good luck!

I just took the compass computer tests and did not pass. I took the express jet test last year and passed. Same test, different bar. Xjet bar is lower. They told me around 40% pass the computer tests, after that 60% pass the hr interview. It seems like I passed all three tests but my cumulative average score on all three wasn't high enough to pass their (delta) bar... Sucks bad but maybe I'll try again in 6 months. Good luck.
