In fact I haven't flown 10 hours in the last six months other than Xplane stuff. What do you think? Will I be embarrassing myself by accepting an interview? It would be outstanding if I was able to hold LAX because I reside in SAN. Thanks much for any quality advice.

You got called for an interview. You got passed the hardest part in my opinion is getting a call. Just be yourself. They might ask you some questions about the transition but be confident about your ability (Not COCKY)

A guy in the new hire class behind me is just about to flow to Delta. Came to Compass back in 07 with about 95% army helicopter time. So it has been done. Good luck

I've had my application on Airline Apps for a while but nothing from Compass. I have an ATP 2260 hrs 440 multi and 135 current. Every one else calls, but I really want Compass and LAX. Any ideas.
Thanks

Do you have a 4 year degree? They're particular with that as well as a good GPA.

When I interviewed they told me they're only hiring guys with a 4 year degree.

if you have a VERY solid and high reputation recommendation... they may overlook a 2yr degree

Just finished the interview today and was offered a position so I am super stoked to start with Compass, especially since they were my #1 choice. From what they told me today the next class date was 3-14 then another class starting on 3-17. I don't know if they have any class dates scheduled after those 2 or if people will just start swimming in the pool, but they did mention that they were waiting for Delta to release hiring information to further plan dates.

Newbie Compass pilot here. Interview yesterday was a success. First airline interview. Seems like a great regional to be at. Interview process was very professional and everyone was friendly. Overall a great experience. It's my first 121 job, so hopefully I can keep up through training. Does anyone have any good advice on where to live and possibly public transportation during training? Not sure what base I'll be at, but hoping to be in LA since I live in Las Vegas. But I'd be happy with any of them.

Congrats on the offer, what class date are you taking?
