What's the dress the first day? Suit or collared shirt and slacks?

So was scrolling through Wikipedia today and saw that they were showing that there are 3 175's on order for Compass. Does anyone have any Ideas if that is old or new?

According to the page History those orders were added by someone on June 20th 2014. I don't think they're real orders. Delta holds the options and I haven't heard of any Compass orders.

That's wha I was wondering there has been nothing put out about additional orders. It would be a major relief for fleet planning and relieve some of the pressures of the fleet planning department.

It's pick your poison here!! Would you rather the company build trips:
A) To the 19 hour bottom line with a 30 hour layover that has no soft pay (4:45 rig)?
OR
B) To a 16 hour bottom line with 4 hour min day?

They are NOT dummies! They will NOT throw away good money in a highly competitive environment - you should be thankful for that actually. From an outside perspective looking in, the 4:45 is a much better program. It may 'socialize' lines a bit and take some days off from the top bidders BUT, it probably gives an overall higher amount of days off to all pilots.
This coupled with higher line values (from what I have read here), is much better than there being 16 hour 4-day trips out there!

Their ability to park guys in MCI/AUS/YVR for 30 hours is dependent on there being enough manning to cover the flying. They've proven that they are able to generate efficient trips (Every day in the pairing minus the 30 hour sit). You do have a point though. Nothing is saying they can't make 16 hour 4 days with the 4 pay/credit we're going for. They'll get theirs either way. :)

I'd rather have option B. Because there will only be a handful at most of 16 hour 4 day trips. Company will be forced to build fairly productive trips in the next 1-2 years. We are going to be so short on pilots, they need us to fly. I at least like to feel like I am getting paid for the time on the 30 hr layover, and if I actually do get stuck with a 16 hour 4 day trip, I know I will be getting a lot of drinking time in on the overnights anyway.

You look at the august bid packet (1st month we switched over)....we only gained about 30 hours of credit, yet their was a loss of over 300 hours of pay. Those are hard numbers to ignore. If the union let's me have an opinion of the matter, I will take the 4 hr pay/credit over adtg. Yes the company will change the pairings, but I still want it the other way.

Compass didn't and doesn't like the 4 hour pay for 30 hour overnights. That's why they are fighting the union on the language and that's why we have this stupid average daily credit BS in the first place. Give us 4 hours of pay as a min day every day. Let them go back to a few 16 hour 4 days. I guarantee it won't be as many as you think.
We can't let the company trample all over us. They are taking advantage of a weak union. The union folded because they thought that the arbitrator would side with the company. The company thought that the arbitrator would side with the union so someone came up with this dumb Average Daily credit idea and everyone agreed because they were being played by the arbitrator. Give us what we agreed to in our contract. 4 hours min day pay...PERIOD. The end. It's very simple.
