Wonder where they'll redeploy compass? That's a lot of block time...

Honestly, welcome news for Compass, the company was extremely limited with flexibility of the shuttle, I expect our performance numbers will go up accordingly

So I guess the question is, where will delta send the 5 or 6 lines of flying to? Will it be more(new) lax flying, Msp, DTW, or other?

Maybe more Seattle flying ;)

Ipad Cases
 

Hello All,

Today at the school house our class was issued IPads and no Jepps.. first class to be all iPad.

Also, company will be providing cases, but they are waiting on cases that will work with the mount in the plane. So cases are coming.

Just FYI.. hope that helps the iPad case debate

Forgive me for seeming lazy. I'm sure this question has been asked before but there are close to 500 pages on this thread and I do not have the time to search each one.

Obviously Compass is the best regional out there right now, that being said there are a lot of pilots going there. In your opinion are current new hires well above the minimums stated on their website? Does Compass accept military pilots who may be under the minimums for total time?

if you are a mil guy with at least a restricted ATP or qualify for one with the written done, you will get a call to interview.

One of my classmates was issued a case and it's only a protective sleeve.

My written is complete and I'm close to the 750 hour mark. Been Hoping to fly for Compass for some time. I guess ill get my app in tomorrow if that's the case.

Last I heard, from the base admin in MSP (who is handling the distribution of the iPads) is that the "case", which is just a zippered sleeve, will be the only bit of protection we will have. The iPads are meant to be used as is in the mounts, because apparently they will not fit with any sort of hard protective case.

Mounts will be in the aircraft. Pretty poor protection of a valuable asset, TBH. But that's why they have us sign a $710 note for it...
