Why in the world would I care about SkyWest's contracts with "other" airlines? If you haven't notice this is a Compass thread and Compass only deals with DCI. I was responding to other poster's comments about our contract being in jeopardy due to crews being unavailable. Once again, reading comprehension is a tough one for you I see. I heard that La Quinta in Bloomington/Mall of America is a popular hotel (cheap) for commuters and those in training. Free breakfast and not too far from the training center. You'd need a rental car since the van probably won't take you to Eagan. Check out the Springhill Suites in Eagan.

How long is the contract to operate for AA for? Just curious now that Envoy passed the new TA...

Forget about the La Quinta then. I hadn't heard that one. I stayed at the Springhill Suites and it was perfect. Kitchenettes , van will take you to the training center, free breakfast, Walmart and tons of food option around, etc. I don't know about the rates these days though.

Its a 6 year agreement with 2 additional two year terms . My understanding is the two additional terms happen automatically and we gotta F up pretty bad for them not to happen.

This is not the first I have heard of commuters getting their stuff stolen at the La Quinta. The front desk will replace a "lost" room key without any ID. It is off of my list as a commuter hotel.

What are the details of an extension? 10 year agreements are horrible. The terms are actually one of the conditions that an airline usually agrees to that it's usually not fully understood.

As long as you get the one with the TSO. I'm not sure what's required with that these days, when I used mine you had to use an earbud under the headset. I just use a telex 850.
