He is not being a smart axx. It varies a lot. The senior bidders who live in base tend to grab the high credit weekday 1 and 2 day trips. Senior commuters grab the few commutable high credit multi day trips that don't touch a weekend. The senior guys that like to fly fish grab the 30 hour Missoula layovers. Sometimes commuters bid for layovers in their home town even if the rest of the trip stinks. Everyone bids for QOL, but how they define QOL varies tremendously from person to person.

How big are classes these days?
How long is the hiring estimated to last? |

Probably not a great idea to be fasicuous on a public board for a company it looks like you're trying to work for. For all we know the people on the interview panel read this stuff and will know you are from SAN and have helicopter time. Dont shoot yourself in the foot! If you don't want a dumb answer dont ask a dumb question.

Hey all class size is still around 10 a week. We are seeing more people from the LAX metro area. I feel like there might be a couple guys commuting from SAN. Compass is still doing some of the San-lax flights so if you are trying to commute that will make it easier. Your guys questions about bud schedule vary month to month as stated above due to PBS being used and not prebuilt lines. When you are junior you really get whatever is left.

Well then let me set the record straight. If Compass chooses to judge me in a negative way because disgruntled individuals like yourself choose to twist my words to make themselves feel better, then I have no problem being turned away by Compass. And what does being from SAN and haveing helicopter time have to do with anything? I have nothing to hide. How about you? My questions were asked in all sincerity and if you see them as dumb then respect the golden rule, "if you don't have anything decent to say, then don't say anything at all" My question was very simple, Is their anyone in this clubhouse who commutes from SAN to LAX? If not, don't respond. Thank you.

Judging by the loads I have seen on the route and talking to jumpseaters, the LAX to SAN commute is kind of tough. You can't count on Compass consistently doing this or any route. The only constant for our route structure is change. The only guy I know that did the SAN commute ended up driving most of the time.

There are lots of San-lax commuters at Skywest.
