If anyone is looking for a place near LAX I'm moving in with my gf and need someone to fill my room. Prefer to put a pilot in since it's below market value for what you get.

1 HUGE bedroom (approx 16 x 12) I currently have a bedroom area and a entertainment/living room area set up in the same room) in a 3br luxury condo in El Segundo. Share a nice bathroom with 1 other. Gated community. 10 minutes from LAX employee parking lot. Nice gym, two pools, hot tub, bi-weekly maid service included in rent, and garage. Two other really cool guys living here. $1250/mo, $1000 deposit, 1/3 utilities (~$50/mo).

I'm able to bid day trips when living here. It's great. PM me for more info and I'll send you a flyer with pictures.

Still hiring 40/mo.
Training schedule is probably 10-ish weeks with a little bit of time off sprinkled throughout... First day is indoc, you get sent home for 2-3 weeks to complete CBTs, come back for 2 weeks of groundschool, then IPTs, then sims, LOE with a gap between it and your IOE.

A little time off? Man, I don't know about anyone else but the rhythm of training was really awkward.

Finish the SV, two days off
First FPT, two days off
Finish PV 5 days off
Do a sim 2 days off
Do a few more sim, 4 days off
After MV, how about another 5 days off?

Ugh it was frustratingly drawn out.

I went almost straight through with very few breaks other than 2 days off after every 5-6. But YMMV, it just depends how backed up the training dept is.

Training schedules for every class is different depending on a lot of things. I'd say most don't have schedule like this. Yours, and classmates including a class or two around your hire date, may have had some bad luck but it's not like that anymore and yours is an exception and not the rule.

Full pay. Everyone's been getting single occ hotel rooms during training in MSP (not required for the company to give you single but they've been doing it for a while). Single occ while in STL during the sim portion of training.

Looks like the rumor of DL to move from T5 to T2 and T3 in LAX is no longer a rumor.
