Monkey see monkey do.
Starting pay for a pilot flying first officer on these aircraft needs to be $100,000. Not a penny less.
$30 million dollar piece if equipment.

There are some seriously disgruntled pilots from the SKW and Envoy side of things today. Understandably. But seriously, this is the reality now so Envoy guys can stay there they're at, wait til a major picks them but, leave the industry all together, or come over to Compass. Why would anyone get upset about saying some of the Envoy guys should come over to Compass? What would be a slap in the face is if someone tried to convince you to stay at Envoy. Get the heck out of there and improve your quality of life. Compass is an airline filled with refugees. Come over and move up the seniority list faster than any other regional out there. I made the lateral move a year ago over to Compass and it's been the best thing that's happened to me in this industry.

This can't be goog for the DAL SSP. Does this mean that compass now will have flow to AA? Can't wait to see the guy in lax that flies his entire career doing AA flying but then has flow to DAL. This should make things interesting for the DAL agreement.

Are you kidding me? You can't see why it is a bad move for a current Envoy pilot to go to compass? That is exactly what management hopes for. What good does it do to say no to concessions for airplanes, but then go fly the same airframes for first year pay? If we wanted to fly those pieces of shït for peanuts, we would've voted yes, and you wouldn't be getting any new planes.

I don't think the DAL flow is a "Thank you" from delta for being loyal. It's more of a way to fill seats at Delta when they need pilots. Maybe a way to keep us staffed? But the fact that Compass pilots fly planes on an AA route doesn't mean they're slapping DAL in the face. It's just business.

Fine, keep giving AAG your time and energy. Keep working for a company that screwed you over hardcore. I'm not saying come fly these planes. I'm saying come fly for a good company that happens to be flying Ejets. If it makes you feel better you can fly on the Delta side of things. I totally see what you're saying though. I don't mean to be an ass about it. I am just saying it as I see it.
Might be time to just log off bro. You're starting to sound like the guys trying to justify Mesa's dealings.
