I don't think the DAL flow is a "Thank you" from delta for being loyal. It's more of a way to fill seats at Delta when they need pilots. Maybe a way to keep us staffed? But the fact that Compass pilots fly planes on an AA route doesn't mean they're slapping DAL in the face. It's just business.
The flow has nothing to do with Delta. It was negotiated with NorthWest and Delta tolerated it.

Believe DL will end the flow. Trenary (and the pcl pilots) learned the hard way what picking up additional flying means to a sole DCI carrier.

4 way deal ( DALPA, CPALPA, CPZ and DAL) that has specifics on how it can be cancelled with 150 pilots left. Won't be worth their time

Hate to see it but... I wouldn't put anything past Anderson. CZ guys seem to be great refugees from other places.

It's called life. You voted no (and I commend the Eagle group for it), and now you can watch the airplanes go elsewhere. You can stay where you are, or you can work somewhere else. It's your life; it's your decision. It's that simple.

I stand corrected. You're right. NWA created it.

I'm really confused. Why are you mad at Compass pilots? They have an above average contract and were recently awarded gains on their last negotiations. I fully support Eagle and what they did for the industry. If my management came to me and asked me for concessions for more flying, I'd say no and would lobby hard against it. Unfortunately, you called their bluff and they had pocket aces. They threatened to take the flying elsewhere if you voted no (technically their right because they own the routes and the planes) and you all knew that. You should be mad at AAG for reneging on a promise they made to you. Coming after Compass pilots and calling them bottom feeders is backwards. They didn't submit the bid. They didn't take concessions for flying. They definitely didn't steal "your" flying. They went to one of the best regionals out there to fly DCI E175s after being furloughed from now-defunct airlines to feed their families.

CPZ pilots didn't vote this new flying in. As was said, most don't want it and sympathize for those that deserve it. That being said, we are not whipsawing the industry. No regional offers truly fair compensation for pilots, however we did just get a mostly beneficial new contract with, among other things, raises.
