Staffing got too low. After Air Wisconsin refused to fly them for pennies, Delta changed Endeavor's hiring process and offered bonuses. How do you not know this stuff?

From what they told us in class, They are currently still sending planes to the desert the same way they planned, but in the fall they are going to reverse the flow. I think it's why all of a sudden the classes are split 50/50 to the 900/200, so they have the pilots available when they start to bring them back. We all just got 5-7 weeks off after ground school before sims/ftds. Who knows what's gonna happen though. I am optimistic. Hope Endeavor works out ok. It's definitely a way more upbeat place from when I left for mil leave 3 years ago.

Seems like you must be losing your touch. Keep trying.
Compass is the opposite of that whole scenario. We are not owned by Delta, we do have a contract with them (which makes it harder for them to take away airplanes if they so choose), we have a SUPER young pilot group with about 1/2 a dozen lifers so we are rock bottom cheap to operate.

I don't know much about TSA holdings, other than it's privately held. Companies that worry about their shareholders and over priced CEOs seem to want to squeeze more from their employees. I agree with your assessment on Trenary, but then a lot of CEOs are over paid in my mind. I think I read the other day that the average hourly wage for the bigger CEOs is near $6000.00 an hour.

Funny how when some dork looses an argument on here against an Endeavor peep they automatically bring up the SSP, like you must be some loser if you didn't get on via the SSP. News flash, there were people hired via SSP that I wouldn't put my grandmother on their plane, and some of the most stellar pilots I know turned down. Some don't even want to do it for one reason or another.
