Question to ask the contract guys I would think, but that might be a hard one to "Stick" so to speak, as this was made between management at CPZ/Now TSH, and the pilot group. I wonder if Delta was included in that portion.
Ill be honest, I haven't looked because that portion hasn't pertained to me, but I will go get educated.

So upgrades are decreasing from 16 a month? Damnit I was getting so close. Starting to consider a lateral move to be closer to family...

And again...there is no language as to when it starts, no idea how many will get to interview each month, is there a certain amount that will get accepted...yada yada yada...is it something yes, but I want to hear more about the meat and potatoes of the deal
There's nothing in the CBA on this, and a pilot whose now at Delta did the negotiating on this back before he left during the flow. Nothing was put in writing and nothing was ever entered into the CBA. Good on Delta for actually honoring it, very easy for them to brush it off and want nothing to do with it...

It sounds like it's just gonna ebb and flow with monthly hiring numbers. Hang in there. There is no shortage of 1000hr+ FOs so hopefully we can get more people over here and get the upgrades back to 16+. At least we can have proper expectations... more of the same raised floors, criticals, possible vacation takebacks, and more desperation for new FOs. This is gonna be like 5 months of raised floors assuming it's doesn't go any longer. Wow. All because they someone wanted to stop hiring for 6 months. Could you imagine of they had furloughed even one guy?! Just the PR disaster for recruiting that would have caused? Crazy

Been hiring 30-40 a month for a few months. Yes its the holidays, and yes that meant less NH's in Dec and an overall training slowdown. Can you blame them? lol.
Just do the math guys, hiring 30-40 a month, out of 700 pilots or so? Movement is going to be crazy, similar to 2015 for those hired recently. For those FO's that stagnated, I feel ya. It sucks, but hang in there. We are shorter on FO's than Captains, so until new hires get off IOE, they cant shoot themselves in the foot by pulling FO's offline for Upgrade, until new Fo's are there to replace them. Id guess, we will still be in the low teens for upgrades per month for a month or two, if not still 18 or so. Then back to full swing 18+. Still the fastest regional for west coast upgrade. Just saying... Wild card is attrition. After the holidays, with all majors and legacies upping the new hire projections for 2018, it might even increase more.

I'm going based of what was said in the call. They sent the list to Delta. Delta scores the app. At least the people who were in that hiring window know they'll get their app looked at.
