The article, and also the AA company newsletter, states that they are going down to 7 carriers, so it looks like Compass is safe...for now.

“The airline will continue to review its regional partners.” That’s in the Bloomberg article... doesn’t look so good for Compass in the future.

It seems from the reasoning, I dont see why they would renew our contract. If they want a seamless customer experience, why would they want a situation where they have OO and CP operating out of lax side by side. In general, it looks like the regionals are going to consolidate. They found out this year for 2019 contracts. I'm sure we will know what's gonna happen to us later this year or next spring.
