Thanks for the input guys, allow me be more specific with this example:

3 days trip
A pilot trying to drop partial day 2 and all day 3 like below:

Day 2:
LAX-SAT
SAT-LAX
LAX-SAN (drop)

Day 3:
SAN-LAX (drop)

This case I am sure the pilot pick up can get day 3 the full 4 hours credit for min day, but how about day 2? Does the pilot picking up gets 4 hours min or only the LAX-SAN credit?

If anyone in LAX CA wants a SAN turn on Monday I got it advertised. 4 hours pay and I believe you should get 4 more hours since it's a holiday. Done by 1430!

It is my understanding that the pilot picking up those days will get min day on both days

This is true. I emailed and asked the scheduling supervisor. If you pick up a partial trip that is only 1 hour, you'd still get the 4 hour min. But the dropper would only get the credit for what was remaining (I.e. SAN turn from LAX 2:00hrs ish).

This is new info for me, maybe i'll pick stuff up from partial now....maybe...

If the person is advertising it as a trade board drop, you will not get the 4 hours min day on the Day 2. The reason you will get 4 hours on Day 3 is because the trip was built that way. So day 2 you will get the 1 hour block time or whatever SAN pays these days.

If Day 2 and 3 were green and the person did a drop, then both of those days would be paid 4 hours as it would be like picking up any normal trip in open time.

Call scheduling to verify but I am 99% sure you will not get pay 4 hours for that Day 2 LAX to SAN unless its picked up in open time. Partial trade board stuff wouldn't count.

Well 99% isn't good enough this time. The guy above you just said he talked to scheduling. I've picked too many of these for my own good. Yes you get the 4 hour min day if you are the one picking it up.

Good to know and didn't see the previous "talked to scheduling"

True statement with a little dig at the end. Is APC a safe space now? The only thing to add is that Compass hasn't wavered too far from past practices despite forum conjecture.
