Max FDP starting 0500-0559 is 12 hours so I'd time out at 1715. Or since there is 10h17m between the two in base is that considered rest making it legal?

I think getting 8 hours of sleep from 9am after getting 8 hours of sleep all night is gonna be impossible not to mention being a commuter so I'd need a hotel too.
My experience last month when this happened to me. I emailed CMP.Chief Pilots and Crew Planning. Explained that even with the 10.5 hours of rest given during the day, there was no way id be able to sleep and be well rested for the evening report. I mentioned that I could see this arise into a potential fatigue call due to the lack of sleep opportunity in the middle of the day. They accommodated by removing me off the overnight. Therefore giving me 24+ hours at home, and just worrying about the one leg that next night to start the next trip. However If they don't adjust your schedule after you express your concerns, i would not hesitate to call out fatigued if you feel you aren't fit for duty that night.

Yeah I was trying to figure it out prior to the crash. I figured out how to drop and trade trips with another person, but not myself.

Where in the ACARS did it say "we declared an emergency"? This is exactly what's wrong with this pilot group and so many pilots thinking as soon as they have 1000hrs they're suddenly experienced and ready to be a captain. No decision making, just puppetry

An airline based on rumors, "my last captain said" and "I heard from a check airman".

How do you know flight time played a factor in this ? They are captains with a lot of SIC time that still have very poor decision making and they are low time Captains who are way better than a lot of the high time guys. None of us really know what went down so we should all just kinda relax until we get the details. It's easy to say when you're not in the situation. Just lets all try to wait and see and not speculate. Not trying to start an argument just simple saying.

So I can see that there are trades posted on netline but I can't expand them to look at details for the trip like I can for opentime trips. Does anyone know how to look at the details of a trip that is posted in the trades section?
