Compass Updates - Saga Continues

Keep them honest with 117. That's on you as much as them. Can't tell you how many times i've had to get the chief pilot involved at "another" holdings company to have scheduling comply with the basics of 117.

I've had this happen too where I wasn't on the report, but I still got a call. This report thing is a bunch of BS, there is absolutely no way to keep them honest anymore. Now I know that most of the time the schedulers do follow our contract. The problem is, there are lots of new schedulers and also what appears to be mass confusion still over the new system. Basically, for all of us on reserve right now it's a total crap shoot. We have no clue what's going on.

So in FLICA it would show everyone who was on a RAP and AR1,AR2...this new system doesn't populate ready reserve into the availability chart for whatever reason which throws the silo order off as well. Airport Readys have to be manually looked up now versus referencing it on FLICA.

I have sent multiple emails to both crewscheduling and ioccworkspace regarding the absence of important information on the reserve availability list, as well as numerous other nonfunctional items in IOCC, and have heard nothing back.
It's just rude to not answer someone's email. If they replied with, "we don't have an answer at this time," I'd think, "wow, how do you clowns run a f@cking airline," but at least I'd know they were paying attention to the concerns of the pilots.

As a LCA reserve this month as well I've already had 2 or 3 big scheduling screw ups where they thought I was on a short call RAP duty. They have also gone as far as asking me to take a shorter call out while on long call. Ummm thanks but no thanks. To everyone on reserve right now, I know it's hard to keep them honest without the reserve transparency we had on FLICA, but please follow the contract and don't do any favors. Proper staffing levels and competent schedulers will prevent THEIR problems of running out of reserves.

since we can't see tomorrow's chart until around midnight, no way to know what they have assigned unless you call them and i don't think we should have to do that since it is very clear in the CBA that the first day you start on what you were awarded. They even remind us every month in the award email that you are considered notified of your RAP for the first day.

I guess if we are doing these stories, I've got a golden one.
scheduler 1 calls me at 0401 to give me a SAN turn with a 0714 report. Ok. While I am STILL on the phone with Scheduler 1, Scheduler 2 Calls. I hang up with 1 and click over to 2 and she tells me I have a SAN turn with a 1745 report. I tell her I just talked to her colleague and she might want to lean over and ask what's going on. Yep, definitely a 1745 report.
Fast forward to about 0900, I get a call from Scheduler 3 telling me I have a SAN turn with a report of 1315. lol, Ok. Fast forward again to about 1000, and I look in IOCC and there is nothing on my schedule, so I call to see what'ts going on.
Scheduler 4 has no idea I was EVER supposed to do a SAN turn and didn't really want to commit to what it was I was actually doing. I finally got her to specifically say I was on a RAP with no report time then she hung up on me.

And for those on LCR, they can't call you and convert you directly to AR. They first have to convert you to short call (13 hours later) and then after SCR starts, they can give you a 2 hour call out for AR.
